Fiddlin Banjo Billy's 14th Superbowl Old Time Fiddlin Workshop
Come experience and learn tunes from this Ozark Fiddle Champion and living legend. If you have ever wanted to join the fun now is the time. Billy has been performing as a professional musician continuing to collect tunes and add to his 500 Fiddle Tunes Project. This is your chance to learn from the master. Each April, Mountain View presents the Arkansas Folk Festival, highlighted by an old-fashioned hometown parade complete with school bands, patriotic veterans groups, show horses and decorated floats. Live folk music seems to never stop in the friendly, inviting atmosphere of the town’s courtsquare. Come out and share the fun, bring your own instrument and sit in during Pickin’ on the Square. Take a trip back to the good old days, and see firsthand why Mountain View is known as the Folk Music Capital of the World.
