Once again, it will soon be time for the Billy Mathews "Super Bowl" fiddle work-shop, held at The Inn at Mt. View.
This 9th Annual work-shop will be held the week-end of 3-4 February, at The Inn at Mountain View.
Scheduling is as follows:
A CD of the tunes is included in the work-shop, and should be available on Friday night.
Work-shop rate is $50.00.
For locals, and those who desire to stay somewhere other than The Inn, the work-shop rate is $65.00. There are a maximum of 20 available slots for the work-shop. Guests of The Inn has first dibs on the available slots. After that, it is a first-come, first-served basis. So, for those staying at The Inn, call Mark Nelson for your reservations. For everyone else, contact Martin, and he'll keep that list. The higher on the list you are, the better your chances of getting one of the slots. Hope to see yaw' there! Cupid in the CavernsCeltic in the CavernsTickets are available for two special events sponsored by the Mountain View Area Chamber of Commerce in coming months.
Cupid in the Caverns is set for Feb. 16-17, 2013 and Celtic in the Caverns will be March 16-17, 2013. The underground concerts are in the same format as the popular Caroling in the Caverns held each holiday season at Blanchard Springs Caverns. The Cupid concert will feature romantic melodies, and the March arrangement will be Celtic.
Show times are 2:30 and 4:30 p.m. Tickets are $20 each and are available at the Chamber of Commerce office. Combination tickets good for a caverns tour plus 2:30 concert are available for $27. Contact Dee from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday.
